Great fit for the latest Ipod Nano! Feb 01, 2010
By EK Was very pleased when I received my Tuneband armband. It is packaged well and includes a protective cover for the face of the ipod to prevent scratches. The look and feel of the band is wonderful and my ipod nano fits perfectly! Recommend you check this brand out. I looked at several armbands before making my choice, but glad I decided on this one. Buy one!

Good, overall armband Apr 04, 2010
By A. Thomas-Elliston I bought this armband a few weeks ago when I upgraded to the 5th generation iPod and I am pleased overall. The silicone skin and the band seemed flimsy to me initially, but they hold the iPod in place well. I use it for weight lifting and running and I have not had a problem with the strap being too tight (it adjusts) or itchy. I can reach all the controls well, but it takes a bit of effort to get to the hold switch at the top of the iPod. Lacing the strap through the back of the silicone skin is easier if the iPod is not in it. I don't use the screen protectors - not sure why you would need these anyway unless you are dropping your iPod all the time.

Works great for Nano 5th, but not if it's in a protective case Jan 19, 2011
By Andrea L. Polk I purchased this to wear both while working out at the gym and while running. It does a great job for both, securely holding my Nano on my 12" arm. At first I thought it would be too big and not cinch down enough (a problem with previous armbands), but I was wrong. The Nano is so light and this armband doesn't detract from that, which makes the 2" width elastic strap more than adequate for holding it securely on your arm without tightening the strap very much at all. In this way, it is perfect.
With the silicone case on the Nano all ports are still available, and the camera lens (on the back of the Nano) is also uncovered. Charging is easily done while in the skin by a cord charger, but won't fit into some slot-type tabletop charging units with the silicone skin on the Nano.
My only disappointment in this armband holder was the fact that when my Nano is in a clear protective hard case, it doesn't fit properly in the armband unit. Kind of an either or thing - if you use a hard case on the Nano, you can't really use the armband. This isn't convenient for me, and it's the reason I give this product 4 instead of 5 stars.

Sports Bras Do Not Make Good iPod Holders Mar 10, 2011
By Cookie Being both a gym AND music junkie I was desperately in need of a good armband for my iPod. Previously I had to wind the earbud wire around the iPod and then had to tuck it into the strap of my sports bra. That is so not sexy! Plus, whenever I would bend over to pick up weights the iPod would come flying out of my bra. Again, not sexy.
After realizing how silly I was being I decided that an armband was definitely in my future.
I needed an armband that would stay put regardless of how much I stretched it while weight lifting, and one that would hold up to sweat.
I looked at several models and chose the Tuneband for iPod Nano 5th Generation, Grantwood Technology's Armband, Silicone Skin, and Screen Protector, (8GB/16GB/Camera), BLACK after seeing several good reviews made by people who have used it in the gym.
I have been using it for several weeks now and I must say that I am very impressed. The velcro covers the entire strap so no matter how small or large (within reason) that your arm is the band stays exactly where you put it. The silicon skin fit very well and makes your iPod impervious to sweat. The included screen protector also protects the iPod from sweat and scratches.
One word of warning though, if you are in a hurry to pull the strap tight on your arm be careful of pinching your inner arm skin in between the stray and the plastic buckle piece.
Would I recommend this strap to anyone? Most definitely. It is good quality and sure beats using your sports bra as an iPod holder.

Awesome Armband Nov 26, 2010
By BirdieBall I have purchased and been given at least four ipod armbands and this is by far the best. Material has a nice stretch, there is no cover over the ipod spin wheel. It created space between your sweat and your ipod. Highly recommend this item
