Makes a Great Gift Jul 26, 2010 I bought my father a Kindle for his birthday several months ago. He never bought a protective case for it, so I decided that I would get him one for Father's Day. I spent a lot of time searching for the best quality and value rolled into one and bought this. My father is VERY happy with the case, and it's one of the best deals out there!
Okay Jul 26, 2010 The item is very basic. I thought the left pocket would hold the charge cable. it will not.
very nice Jul 25, 2010 I received the cover very quickly. It went on easy and I have no complaints. I would reccomend this cover.

Simple, functional cover and case in one Jul 24, 2010 When I tried my new Kindle I knew three things. First, it was too slippery for me to be comfortable with, so I needed a cover and I wanted it to hold the Kindle securely and also fold back all the way so I'd have a variety of reading holds. Second I wanted something that would totally protect the Kindle so I wouldn't have to worry about a bit of rain or putting it places like on the floor of the passenger seat when I wasn't reading. Third, I didn't want it to cost much because I didn't know what I would really like. Not many covers say they can fold back all the way, some don't look like the have hard covers or a very secure hold on the Kindle. Almost all covers would need a second case to protect the Kindle completely so that would be two purchases.
I kept coming back to the Simplecase and figured what the heck, it's a bit clunky but it's inexpensive and it'll be something to use until I decide on something else. But it's been great! It may not be the most stylish case but it does the job of both cover and complete case very well. The Kindle is secured well, and between the hard covers and the extra width around the sides and the zippers, it would be hard to find better all-in-one protection for a Kindle. The folding cover is super because I found a bunch of holds I like for different reading positions. And as one commenter suggested, if you are in a suitable position you can even fold the cover back about 3/4 and tuck it between your knees to hold the Kindle up at a decent reading angle so you only have to move one hand to advance the page. This cover is making me really lazy. Haha. Only design flaw is the upper left elastic covers about half of the on/off slider but that doesn't bother me since the wide elastic corners do hold the Kindle well.
You can't really go wrong with this purchase. Even if it doesn't end up being your final or every day case it would still be great for traveling. I am quite happy with it.
Love it! Jul 23, 2010 I looked at many cases and reviews before deciding on this case. It is just perfect for my needs. I mainly read in bed before sleeping, but wanted a case that would protect my Kindle. I love the design of this case. It is very slim and you can fold one side under if you want. It is a bit difficult to turn the Kindle on and off because of the placement of the elastic straps, but this is not a major issue. The case seems to be constructed very well and seems like it will last quite a while. I also bought a Octovo Solis reading light and I hooked it to the top of the Kindle and leave part of the zipper open to accommodate the light. Seller shipped product very quickly as well. Very happy with the set up that I have! Would highly recommend this case.
