 Secure, comfortable and elegant: who could ask for more? Jan 13, 2009

I hate wearing a phone on my belt, but I have become so attached to the iphone that I had to break down and get something. I wanted something that would be unobtrusive, tasteful, secure and easy to get the iphone out of. The Grantwood QuickFlip Case delivers all the basics in an understatedly attractive leather package. The clip is leather-bound, very securely attached to the case, and the leather binding doesn't scratch even a fine leather belt. The case slips on and off my belt very easily, and once on the belt, it stays securely even during activities where I'm doing a lot of twisting and bending. Openings in the case allow easy access to the sleep/wake button and the headphone jack. Another opening in the bottom of the case makes it easy to push the phone out of the case for easy access. The stitching on the case and clip is very fine, tight and secure; I'm confident that this case is going to stay in one piece for a long time--unlike some of the plastic cases & clips I looked at. If you want to advertise that you're packing an iphone on your hip, this is not the case for you. But if you want something that works and that looks good in casual or business attire, this is the case.

This wasn't a bad deal at all, I gotthe flip case and tune band for like 20$. The flip case alone is sold for about the same price at retail outlets. Theflip caseis nice and works good with dress apparel. The arm band on the other hand is made of flimsy rubber and virtually unusable, because it flippidy flops all over the place even if you're just doin the dishes. So myadvice would be to get this if you want the flipcase but not if you want it for the armband.

After looking around for an armband for my iPhone I was unable to find anything I was willing to take a chance on either due to questionable quality or price. Then I find this offer from Grantwood Technologies providing not only an armband but also a leather carrying case, both at the price of what I was seeing for a single iPhone case. So I bit and ordered the set.
I have been very happy with this purchase. Not only is the armband exactly what I was looking for (good construction, solid fit) but I have found the leather case more handy than expected. It is also well built. In addition, I really like the material the armband is made out of. It doesn't get slippery during a workout and has a nice feel.
As far as criticisms go, I have few. Leather case does stay closed through the use of a magnet. Thus I had some concerns about it inadvertantly erasing either credit cards or thumb drives. But to date, this hasn't happened.
Overall, I give this product high scores both in terms of quality and cost.

I got this package mostly for the leather case, but the armband was a bonus. For the record, the armband iPhone holder was a clear white, not black. Why they cannot make a slider case with an armband I do not know but I don't use the armband simply because I prefer to dock my iPhone except when I travel.
The leather case protects the iPhone well. An iPhone with an InCase brand slider on it still fits perfectly. My only concern is the magnets that hold it shut. You should always be suspicious of magnets near electronic devices, but they do not seem strong enough to effect the device.
There is nothing wrong with the belt clip. It works perfectly.
What I want to say most is that Grantwood's customer service is exemplary. They send you an email right away and give you the order specifics so you can notify them if it's in error. They also respond to replies! The item was shipped immediately after my order was placed and arrived a day earlier than expected. I will be happy to buy other products from Grantwood.

I bought this item mainly to use the flip case. The main problem was the difficulty in clipping the case to my belt. The clip was too short for me to manipulate and pry open to insert into my belt. The clip is very strong. This is a plus point as it clips well on the belt but the clip is too short that one will find difficulty to clip on the belt. In the end, every time one has to use force and manipulation in order to clip it. As time goes by, the case torn from the clip. Now i can't use the flip case anymore....(used for 3 months only)
The silicon skin is satisfactory. There is a small defect that i noticed. At the bottom part of the skin near the "Home" button of the Iphone, the "U" shape skin silicon is retracting up a little bit, so it affects my typing on the iphone keyboard.
