If you can get the cover on without making air bubbles, then you are set. If you do get some air bubbles, it's ok; it doesn't really matter. Get this item; it's cheap and they work great

The screen protector works well and I can't even tell it's there (when I also have a case on). I didn't pay attention to the instructions so ruined the first one but the second one went on really easily and I didn't have bubble problems. (It helps to start at the bottom with the hole for the button and apply upwards.) I haven't have any problems, and even ordered more in case I scratch this one or it starts to peel.

Sensitivity is still great. Protection of the screen is effective. Just be careful putting it on.

Bought these for my daughter's itouch (teenager).
She was able to apply them herself - easy, no bubbles &
you can't even tell they are there. Very happy with product.
